Our Historic Building
We are privileged to work in a very unique and historical setting. Our building was built in 1893 as a passenger station for the Wilmington and Northern Railroad, then following some conversion work it became the Pocopson Post Office in 1947. The facility was subsequently sold at auction during the 1970's, then refurbished as a veterinary practice in 1991. Many original fixtures and features have been preserved, and today the property is listed in the Chester County Register of Historic Places. The train still visits us a few times each day.
